Tempest Run
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
A cross between Tempest (1981) and Temple Run (2011), "Tempest Run" puts a new spin on those iconic games and was made for the Pygame Community Summer Jam 2021, whose theme was "Recreate an old game with a twist."
How to play
Jump over spikes, slide through enemies, and avoid walls in this endless 3D runner. See how far you can make it in the endless wormhole.
Note: you cannot jump over the green enemies! You must slide through them (S or down arrow key).
Controls:
WASD or Arrow Keys to move, jump, and slide.
You can also jump with Space.
Toggle neon effect with N.

Thank You! We did not use any engine, we used pygame (a 2D python framework based on SDL) for the game :)
